Taylor Sands

"The story of life is quicker then the blink of an eye" -Jimi Hendrix

My name is Taylor Sands from Los Angeles, California. I'm a 23-year-old recent college graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. In my lifetime, I have been passionate about the world of video production and storytelling. In my ventures, I have been fortunate to have been apart of some amazing projects, jobs and internships.

From telling the story of Arizona State Cheerleading to covering Art Festivals, I love giving the chance for people to have their lives be told on video.

I am very passionate about the world of sports. In my current profession, I am given the chance to film, edit and produce many of Arizona State's athletic events. Most of my work has also been seen across the country.

In my work, I am given the chance to travel all over the United States and document the lives of Arizona State Softball. I produce game highlights, player profiles, small video packages and everything in between.

My previous internships include working as a Producer for RightThisMinute (An entertainment show based in Phoenix that specializes in Internet Videos) and FOX Sports 910 in Phoenix.

When I am not filming videos, I also love photography. Being able to tell a story I think is just a powerful as video. Sometimes it is heartbreaking to capture the images, but these are the tales that need to be seen.

Some of my other passions outside of my line of work include watching sporting events including my two favorite teams, the Philadelphia Eagles and the Los Angeles Angels. I am into the world of film as well with my favorite film of all-time being City of God. I also enjoy lifting weights, surfing, skateboarding and collecting old vinyl records.
