Trisha Serquiña

I'm a rising senior in the BU College of Engineering majoring in Biomedical Engineering with a concentration in Technology Innovation. In the future, I would love to work in Boston for a biotech company!

Among other activities, I'm currently active with BU's Filipino Students Association and Engineering World Health @ BU, as well as working as a Student Manager with the BU Student Activities Office.

Additionally, I've worked as a tour guide for both BU and the College of Engineering, tutored SAT math, promoted STEM education at elementary schools through science experiment presentations, and helped organize a Filipino-American youth conference at Harvard University.

Oh, and did I mention that I was crowned Miss BU 2014?

In my spare time, I love to do any and everything related to food - usually, it's just looking at pictures of food and watching Chopped, but I also enjoy cooking and eating at different restaurants to try different types of food. Let's grab lunch!

If I weren't an engineering major, I would love to work for Disney. In fact, my dream job is to play Mickey Mouse! I really admire their dedication to customer service and love their attention to detail.
