Trevor Hall, a previous intern from summer of 2014, has recently been employed as a full time employee in the Materials and Supplier Engineering Department.

Trevor Hall was born and raised in Suffolk, VA. He found an interest in math, chemistry, and critical thinking early in his educational career, which led him to Virginia Tech to further his education. Trevor was successful with this goal, graduating from Virginia Tech this past May with a degree in Chemical Engineering, B.S.

As an intern here at Johnson & Johnson Vision Care, Trevor analyzed and characterized a change in the formulation to synthesize a key component in the monomer that is used to make contact lenses. This project resulted in an annual savings of about $5 million and better business continuity with the vendor involved.

Trevor enjoys spending his time surfing, rock climbing, and serving at a church in town.
