Many years ago I decided that I wanted my life to be about making Jesus famous. At that time I thought for me to do that most effectively I should enter full time ministry. I fought that idea for a long time, but God kept me to my word. I'm trying to make a difference for God. Ideally what I would like to hear said about me, is that I loved God so passionately that others discovered God or discovered a deeper truth of God through me. That my life would be so consumed by the presence of the Holy Spirit at work and in control of my life that others gained a clearly picture of Jesus. There are moments in some days that I absolutely believe that just might be the case. But most days I'm still trying to make every effort to embrace the life changing grace of Jesus. Currently this adventure with God has brought me to Garner NC where I serve an amazing community and an amazing local church called True North Church. Along the way I've discovered some truths: - the best medium for communication is story - I'm not nearly as important as I'd like to believe - words are extremely important, but presence trumps words
