Tarek El-Shennawy

Dr. Tarek El-Shennawy was born in Alexandria, Egypt in 1972. He completed his undergraduate study at EBS in 1990 and joined the Faculty of Engineering where he graduated in 1995. From 1995 till 1998 he joined the Egyptian Armed Forces where he served as a Lieutenant in the Navy and Air Defence Forces. From 1998 till 2000 he was an assisstant lecturer in the Faculty of Engineering and from 2000 uptill now he was working at Alexandria National Refining & Petrochemicals Co. (ANRPC).

Dr. Tarek earned his M. Sc. and Ph. D. in Electrical Engineering from Faculty of Engineering, Alexandria University in 2002, 2010 respectively. He published more than 20 papers in various international scientific journals and conferences including USA, England, Poland, Romania, Malaysia, Australia, Iran, Indonesia and Egypt. He published some essays in arabic newspapers.

Dr. Tarek is a trainer in many Electrical Power Engineering topics, including, but not limited to, Smart Grid, Power Quality, Distribution Systems, Switchgear, Reactive Power Compensation and many more.
