Hi, I’m Moreti Tshepang, a third-year Bachelor of Education in Senior and FET Phase student at the University of Johannesburg, majoring in Computer Applications Technology (CAT) and Sepedi. My academic path reflects my deep passion for both language and technology.

I believe that language forms the foundation of all learning. When taught effectively, it opens the door for learners to grasp any subject with confidence. At the same time, I see technology as a powerful tool to make education more engaging, meaningful, and interactive. My goal is to bridge these two worlds to create learning environments where students are both inspired and empowered.

My passion for teaching began during my time at Bodiroa Secondary School, where I found joy in helping peers understand their work. Encouraged by my brother, I embraced teaching as my calling. I am committed to contributing to South Africa’s future by equipping learners with the skills to generate practical, innovative solutions to real-world problems.

My teaching philosophy is grounded in Vygotsky’s social constructivism, emphasizing learner-centered, collaborative learning. I believe that when learners construct knowledge on their own, they will not forget what they learned.

Outside the classroom, I’m experienced in graphic design, video editing, web development, and learning design. I’ve developed educational resources, posters, and websites. In 2024, I earned a distinction in a Python programming course through GRIT Lab Africa, strengthening my skills in algorithms, problem-solving, and introductory programming. I’m currently looking forward to growing further through the SURF program.
