Tom Slaney is a digital photographer whose preferred genre is to capture the architectural elements within a cityscape. Tom captures the images in black and white format using digital technologies and promotes them for advertising purposes and publishing.

During the previous year, he has recently reignited his love for history and has made it a key part of his work by researching the antecedents of the buildings he has photographed. He also has several projects set for a future date that include combing historical facts with his photography.

Tom also focuses on portraiture using his ability to quietly observe people to capture the precise, personal moments, which enhance and individualise his work.

Tom has an individual passion for film and media; especially the creative processes involved in the development of moving images. This keen interest has led to him looking to develop his career aspirations into this genre.

Following his of enjoyment of panoramic views, Tom promotes his keen interest in landscape photography and when challenged to consider new themes to motivate himself, he will deliberately wander around the city with no clear destination with or without a camera until he is inspired by an idea.
