With over 26 years of IT leadership experience, I have led technology transformations across Brazil, Latin America, and worldwide. Beginning my career in 1998 as a hardware intern, I developed expertise in Linux/FreeBSD, networking, storage, and programming, progressing to roles including Linux consultant, System Administrator, and Support Engineer. I have collaborated with leading organizations such as Conectiva, EDS, Citibank, Accor, Red Hat, SUSE, Oracle, and IBM.
Additionally, I spent 12 years as an instructor in Linux and open source technologies, as I am a dedicated advocate for Open Source, actively involved with ASL.org, LPI.org, and multiple FOSS initiatives in Brazil.
- Strategic alignment of IT initiatives with business goals, spanning on-premises, licensed, subscription, and cloud (SaaS) environments.

As an Alliance Manager at IBM, I drove the expansion of the IBM Power ecosystem across the region, achieving over $100+ USD MM in annual revenue, and enabled 100+ partners. I also founded the IBM Power Brazil Community, now exceeding 100,000 members, to accelerate adoption of App Modernization, AI, and Security solutions. Previously, as Worldwide Open Source Offering Manager, I led IBM’s global go-to-market strategy for open source, generating $120+ USD MM annually.
I am based in São Paulo, Brazil, and value family life. After overcoming a life-threatening bout with COVID-19 in 2021, I embrace every opportunity to contribute meaningfully both professionally and personally. Outside of work, I am passionate about fitness and technology, with a long-standing dedication to Linux and Open Source since 1998. Currently, I am focused on developing AI agents and orchestrating cloud-based workflows, with a growing interest in FinOps to optimize financial operations in cloud environments.
