Originally from Viet Nam, Tuan Nguyen has lived in the Czech Republic for eight years and studied in Seattle for two years. The experience of living in different countries has expanded his intercultural horizon and enhanced his ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds.
In the fall 2010, Tuan transferred to SDSU as a Hospitality and Tourism Management major. After interning as a front desk agent at the Sheraton Ha Noi Hotel, he realized that the hospitality sector wasn’t the right career path for him and decided to switch his major to Finance because it is better aligned with his future career aspirations and interests.
After attending his first Real Estate Society meeting where he heard Craig Stevens speak, Tuan decided to get more involved with RES and is even planning to elect Real Estate as a minor. Tuan is excited to serve with Jay as Marketing Directors for the 2013 -2014 school year and looks forward to working with the amazing board members of Real Estate Society.
Tuan is interested in learning more about the Real Estate industry – specifically, he is interested in commercial real estate. Tuan is committed to learning new things. He is planning to get a real estate license and hopes to specialize in flipping houses, his passion.
