It's awesome to look back over the years and how God has prepared me for the time at hand. As a teenager I prayed not to be valedictorian so I wouldn't have to speak in front of adults. But now, I consider it a blessing and privilege to share God's Word and His love before people. What a change. And it's all thanks to Him.

I have an M.Ed. in Hearing Disorders and was a Teacher of the Hearing Impaired for three years until I felt called to be a stay at home mom. I've worked on the side to make ends meet, but always felt my calling was at home and I have never regretted it. I love my family. I've been led to learn Gospel clowning, ballooning, facepainting, puppetry, hemp jewelry making, and each one the Lord has used to teach me how to serve and love more like Him.

I have always wanted to be a missionary and four years ago the Lord has opened the door for me to participate in medical/dental missions in the Philippines. And He has entwined them in my heart. What started with two weeks just increased to six weeks and it's never enough. So, I am waiting faithfully for the Lord to work all things together until He brings us full time.

All I know is that when we commit and submit everything to Jesus, He does amazing things in our lives. He changes us from the inside out. He makes us beautiful like I can take a floppy balloon and make it into something special. Only He does it better. And from the time that I accepted Him as my Savior, He has given me a love for His Word, meditating in it, and writing about Him. My time with Him in the early morning hours is such a special time. I hope you have a time like that.

May the Lord bless You as You seek to know Him more.
