Tucker Perret

An entrepreneur and student with a broad range of professional and academic interests, Tucker Perret presently divides his time between a number of roles in and around his hometown of Lafayette, Louisiana. Following graduation from Saint Thomas More Catholic High School in Lafayette, Mr. Perret enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, where, among other subjects, he pursued studies in Biological Anthropology, Genetics, and History. Since then, Tucker Perret has maintained involvement in several academic and entrepreneurial endeavors, with notable successes in the fields of technology, commodity trading, and finance. A current student at Louisiana State University in a dual degree JD/MBA, Mr. Perret has enriched his coursework through recent internships at the Louisiana Business & Technology Center, an LSU-affiliated organization that supports economic development across the state, and The Shaw Group, a multifaceted conglomerate with substantial holdings in the energy sector.

Aside from his work and studies, Tucker Perret plays an active role in the community, donating his time, energy, and resources to worthy causes in Louisiana and beyond. Most notably, Mr. Perret has supported Miles Perret Cancer Services through a series of fundraising efforts---including the highly popular Games of Acadiana---helping to position the organization as a leading source of assistance to cancer patients and their families.

In his free time, Tucker Perret enjoys a number of recreational activities; he runs, cycles, swims, and competes in Ironman triathlons whenever possible. Mr. Perret also practices organic farming and goes fishing in the Gulf Coast region and elsewhere. He lives and works in the greater Baton Rouge area.
