I was born in Romania and came to Canada when I was nine. I am interested in medicine, history, and technology, new or old.

Moving from a different, to say the least, country into a “first world” or “developed” country was a challenge, but I rose through it and I now see myself better, and more interested in the world itself.

One of the biggest things I have learned from my experience in changing countries was that I learned who I really am. That being someone who is extremely interested in what most people find interestingly boring, that being history (especially French), medicine (mostly anatomy), and very nerdy things such as Doctor Who and Star Wars, not to mention rather bizarre choices in everyday things such as my favourite colours (white and black) and my favourite clothing article (very long and thin overcoats). This has mostly pointed out how boring I am to most people, and has also shown me how introverted I am in not really caring.

I am currently in high school, focusing on the sciences (mostly biochem) and math as I am striving to become a surgeon. I have taken certain steps into a medical education already with completing a number of Career and Technology Studies (CTS) modules on medicine such as The Cardiovascular System and The Musculoskeletal System. I am also hugely interested in medieval and renaissance history, focusing mostly on the particular period of French history from the late 16th century to the late 19th century, and I have also taken classes which I find interesting more than beneficial for a resume or credits, this being Advanced Placement (AP) European History. I have not completed this class as of yet but I am striving and studying for the next time the class become available.

I am a very introverted person, but the things I do enjoy do seep out from me sometimes, especially to my friends. And what I am truly interested in does, not only shape my opinion, but prepare me for a world where the things I love, most notably history, are found remarkably boring to the majority of the population.
