Tudor Chronicles

Hi there and thank you for visiting this site.

My name is Emma and I live in Redditch, UK. I remember the first time I ever heard about the Tudors in primary school nearly 25 years ago. I was fascinated by the king who had six wives, I even played Katherine Parr in the school play.

In 2009 I was shopping in a book store in Stratford-upon-Avon and on impulse picked up a few books on Henry and his wives. This one step reiginited my love of the era and ever since then I have not stopped learning since.

I spent a long time thinking about what to do and my thoughts turned to setting up a website. I wanted to be able to talk about all things Tudor from Henry VII all the way to Elizabeth I including all the important and iconic people in between. This site will include book and tv reviews as well as news as and when it happens. I will also write about any plays that I go to see at the RSC.
