Tunisha Potter, M.A.

Hello, I am Tunisha. I have a bachelor’s in Human Relations–Psychology and Sociology–from Texas A&M University and I recently graduated with a master’s in counseling and guidance.

I am an student success advisor at the Alamo Colleges where I provide academic and career counseling to students. I am experienced in helping students overcome several issues that might serve as barriers to their educational goals. I maintain an integrative theoretical orientation but enjoy utilizing solution-focused and choice approcahes when helping students.

I am currently engaged in independent research on topics involving nontraditional students & counseling/advising services. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering, spending time with my family, and attending professional workshops and conferences.
