Turki Alqurashi

I would describe myself as a very determined and highly motivated person. I do take my job seriously but I’m able to see things in perspective and believe I’m quite easy-going to work with. I’m an optimist rather than a pessimist, but I’m also a realist and I cope well when the going gets tough; I’m very good at finding solutions to problems. I'm also a good critical thinker. I always think outside the box. Above all, I would say I’m a positive and enthusiastic person and I relish a challenge.

My career goals can be classified into two basic categories: short-term and medium-term. My short-term goals are simple and straightforward and are related to my education. My intention is to graduate with a good degree from the University of Salford and move onto the next phase of my studies, which will involve the obtaining of a Master’s degree in Advanced Computer Science and IT Management.

Once I have achieved my short term goals, I will shift my focus on my medium term goals. These are related to my professional career and the objectives that I will be aiming for during my professional career. I will try to gain entry into the public service or private companies where I will have the opportunity to work for the betterment of the community. Using the knowledge that I have acquired during my time as a student I would like to develop policies that will help with the implementation of public programmes and will also facilitate the efficient management of employees.
