Tuwanna Marie is an Atlanta-based Gospel recording artist prepared to take the world by storm. With a warm, sultry voice and charismatic personality, Tuwanna is certain to capture your heart.

At the age of 12, Tuwanna discovered her natural talents during her time spent participating in her parent’s church choir. It was then that Tuwaana knew her love for performing was something that needed to be sought after.
Over the years, Tuwanna developed her talent by taking advantage of various performance opportunities. Following her high school graduation, Tuwanna spent years singing in R&B showcases with greats such as, Betty White and Tyrone Davis. She also had the privilege of providing background vocals for Sir Charles Jones and highlighted as an opening act for the late Gerald Levert.

Being the versatile talent that she is, Tuwanna decided to explore the Hip Hop genre. During her experience with Hip Hop Tuwanna performed with Hip Hop acts Nelly, Petey Pablo, and Atlanta’s own Lil Jon and The Eastside Boyz.
After the death of her mother in 2006, Tuwanna decided it was time to return to her Gospel roots. Realizing that through all of the trials and tribulations God never left her side she rededicated her life to Him. In her return to Gospel music, Tuwanna has rediscovered her ministry. Tuwanna’s soul- filled, passionate lyrics are sure to touch the hearts of all that listen.

With her love for performing Tuwanna has starred in stage plays Go And Sin No More and Missing Daddy, both written and produced by Sharon Keys Productions. In her most recent role she shared the stage with Eucluid Gray, of Tyler Perry Productions, as they starred in the phenomenal stage play Quench My Thirst.

To date Tuwanna is actively working on new music. She has seized various performance opportunities creating great moments with Chandra Currelley and the Anointed Paces Sisters. These expereice gave Tuwanna the inspiration to create her upcoming Project This Is My Story! This is only the beginning for Tuwanna Marie. She has a story to tell!
