I am an author of women’s fiction-romance, and my debut novel, House of the Blue Sea, will be released February 20 of 2016.

Since the day I learned to write, I’ve always had pen to paper. It started off with “Dear Diary“ and a tiny key and, through the years, evolved into journaling, poetry, songs, magazine articles, two blogs and, finally, a first novel.

I live on 20 acres of Alberta prairie with my husband, three horses, two dogs and three cats. We board five horses in addition to our own, grow horse hay, and spend as many days of the summer as we can riding the trails of Kananaskis Country.

Most winters you'll find us in the deserts of the southwest United States, boondocking in our fifth wheel trailer. I like to relax during that time, so I leave the bulk of the travel blogging to my two dogs, Chico and Logan, who are only too happy to share their desert adventures. www.chicoandlogan.wordpress.com

I believe that beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder, and beauty can be found everywhere. Nothing is ordinary.
