Vu currently is working as a researcher at Department of Urban Management, Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University, Japan.
His current research interests are broadly drawn from urban and infrastructural transportation planning, regional & international economic integration, environmental economics modeling, carbon capture & storage, climate change adaptation policy and green economy.
Prior Vu received his Bachelor of Arts in Architect at the Hanoi Architectural University in Vietnam, Bachelor of Arts in Linguistic (English) at the Hanoi University (Hanoi University of Foreign Languages Studies), a Master of Science at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) in Thailand under the AIT-Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency scholarship and PhD in Engineering (Infrastructural Economic) at the Kyoto University under three-year scholarship for international doctoral program on sustainability.
