The Twamashrita Foundation is a Section 8 company that works to strengthen the social, emotional, and intellectual capacities of the economically underprivileged sectors of society. The Twamashrita Foundation also runs initiatives for community rights, employment, education, social welfare, animal welfare and fair access to healthcare for transgender people.

It also emphasizes the establishment of homes and hostels for the underprivileged as well as the promotion of gender-neutral education. In addition to promoting education and skill development, Twamashrita Foundation assists in setting up funding for those who have physical or mental disabilities.

Twamashrita Foundation launched its first service platform Twamashrita.org, built for crowd funding for medical emergencies, Transgender community, rural development, education and strays. This is the first crowd funding application from Odisha, made with the help of energetic, skilled and experienced software engineers who have more than a decade of experience.

• Twamashrita name is derived from the Sanskrit words “Twama+Ashrita”. Twamashrita Foundation is committed to working for welfare needs by supporting "Swacha Bharat” and "Aatma Nirbhar" Abhiyaan.
• Twamashrita Foundation is not associated with any political party but is happy to work with anyone for social needs.
• Twamashrita Foundation accepts donations as well as work to earn by providing service to society which supports “Aatma Nirbhar”.
