Tammy Tweten

I live in sunny California with my husband, our four children, and three fur babies.

This is my 19th year in the classroom. I've had the pleasure of being a 1:1 Chromebook Integration Teacher for the past three years. I currently teach 4th Grade. I've worked with my district on the Common Core Technology Integration Team, as well as served as a team member on a Technology Magnet School Grant committee.

My classroom experience ranges from K-5 in both regular and Special education environments. I was privileged to receive the honor of teacher of the year from my colleagues and my district in 2013-14.

I'm a lifelong learner and technology enthusiast. I'm a Google Educator. I completed my Masters in Educational Technology Leadership and Design from Brandman University in the Spring of 2015. I'm a lifelong learner and especially interested in building and collaborating with my Personal Learning Network.

I enjoy creating useful tips and tools resources for my peers and speaking at Ed Tech conferences. I have a personal blog and enjoy sharing this platform with my students using KidBlog. I'm an evolving paperless classroom, Genius Hour, social media advocate, as well as a believer of 24/7 personalized PD.
