Twinkle VanFleet
Volunteer, Director, and Public Speaker in Sacramento, California
A chronic pain patient and advocate dedicated to providing a flavorful medley of health care, policy, research, clinical trials, patient perspectives, peer sites, groups, blogs, articles, non profit's, communities, general awareness, self journey, poetry, and other information or interests that you might find either useful or enjoyable from each.
As Advocacy Director for the Power of Pain, my policy efforts include but are not limited to, California legislation, abuse deterrent formulations, access to care, step therapy/fail first, the PA Shuffle (prior authorization), specialty tier, and other pain care issues .
I've volunteered from home as an advocate for CRPS/RSD since 2003. Prior to that advocating for end of life and inoperable cancer rights. (1990) initially taking interest in 1984-85.. I do work hard to get out and advocate in person. I don't endorse any specific option, rather I share information whether I personally have an interest in it or not. Many of my views are that of my own and should not reflect negatively on the Power of Pain Foundation. My thoughts and beliefs on past, present, and current issues are diverse. I am a thought provoker and sometimes controversial. I advocate for injured workers and help provide work comp updates. My injury occurred Jan 2001, CRPS type 2/Causalgia diagnosis 2003.
