Two Spinster Sisters
Two Spinster Sisters
Let’s be honest. “Spinster” probably isn’t the first adjective that comes to mind when you hear the words ‘awesome’ ‘wonderful’ and ‘marvelous’. But we’d like to change that.
While this word may elicit some rather traditional and downright derogatory thoughts, when we say spinster, we mean the FARTHEST thing from dowdy and passed over. Spinsterhood, to us is a way of life.
A sort of glorious take-life-by-the-tail attitude accompanied by a gutsy sense of adventure that most likely did develop from years of chosen independence on the part of the spinster sisters, (It should be noted that the term spinster now has nothing to do with marital status. Spinster 1 (“Elis”). has since snagged herself a fella. We’ll just call him “Phil”)
Rather than spinster connoting single-hood, by spinsterhood we mean, we are the crazies. The insane sisters down the street who try their hands at anything and everything, who don’t take no for an answer, and who usually experience some hilarious misfortunes whilst bumbling through life. All the while accomplishing magnificent feats like putting up chain link fences in a day and learning priceless life lessons, like how to pickle 25 pounds of carrots on a whim.
You kind of want to be a spinster now, don’t you? Yeah. We know.
Now, let us introduce ourselves:
