I've long been inspired by the changing light and shadows in different areas of the country especially the mountain peaks and vistas of Arizona and California. My inspiration also comes from people as figurative images in life transitions.

The canvas becomes a reflection of captivating scenery and that unique view of life in action. The arts bring me to my senses and allow me to experience a vitality through the richness in texture, tone, and contrast.

My home and studio are located in Gilbert, Arizona where I instruct speech and communication classes , paint as often as possible, and belong to a jazz ensemble singing standards jazz tunes. .
