Ty Schildts

Ever since I worked on the school newspaper at my high school, I have been passionate about journalism. While attending the University of Florida, I honed my writing prowess and developed public record and data journalism skills that I used while writing for WUFT. There, I wrote articles covering stories such as a domestic violence shooting, homeless census in downtown Gainesville, and food deserts that affect Alachua county residents.
