Ty Nathan Clark is an artist, writer and filmmaker. He has been exhibiting nationally for over 15 years and in 2010 was named one of America’s Brightest Young Influencers byCatalyst.
He has traveled to 5 continents while spending time living, serving, creating and learning in over20 countries, and cultures around the world. Ty was recently named one of ten contemporary artists in Austin to watch in 2017by Culture List. Ty’s work can be seen in NAVA Contemporary in New York.
An artist, writer, designer, activist, and filmmaker, Ty has shown his work in over 15 states across the US. In addition to the influence of his uncle “Jiggs” he studied under American sculptor William Catling while attending Azusa Pacific University’s School of Fine Arts where he was a 2 year captain in the nationally ranked basketball program. (As a captain he led his teams to a Sweet 16 and Final Four.) Ty is currently the basketball consultant and associate producer for Jump Shot: The Kenny Sailors story, a feature documentary about the man who developed the modern day jump shot in basketball.
