Tyler LePard

Digital Strategist & Communications Consultant in Seattle, Washington

I'm an accomplished digital strategist and communications professional, with a decade of experience working with nonprofits and private foundations. I excel at integrating digital media with traditional communications. I'm passionate about reproductive health, social justice, and fighting poverty.

I'm launched my own business to help nonprofits with communications and digital strategy: Wondershop Communications.

Previous Experience:

After launching the award-winning reproductive health online publication RH Reality Check, I managed traditional and social media for Population Action International.

I spent several years with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation -- first in communications for Global Health Policy and Advocacy, then running digital campaigns, advising leadership and training staff on social media for Foundation Communication's digital team.

I led strategy and communications for Catapult (the first crowdfunding site for girls & women's equality) for two years before launching my independent consulting business.

I earned my BA in American Studies at Wesleyan University and my Master of Public Policy at George Washington University.

I am on the Board of Directors for Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and a volunteer hotline advocate for The CAIR Project (a Northwest abortion fund).

I balance my love of reading novels and watching movies with bicycling and backpacking. I live in Seattle with my wife and our pets.
