Tyler Jones

I am 19 year old third year student currently attending Algonquin College studying Business Administration with a major in International Business. My interest in Business began at a young age given that it is the same field as my grandfather. The reason I have decided to major in International Business is because I have a keen interest in travelling and world issues. My experience at Algonquin College has taught me that Business is a vast field that provides several opportunities if you possess the skills and attitude necessary.

At the moment I am a part-time salesman at Play It Again Sports Barrhaven which is a sporting goods retail chain with many locations across Canada and the United States. This job has given me a hands on, in-depth look at the retail business. It has taught me how to communicate with customers, and deal with inventory.

My main goals for the future regarding employment are to be able to have travel opportunities with my job. The main thing about my career that I hope to be lucky enough to have is fun and excitement while working ensuring that I love what I do day in and day out.

My personal interests include watching and playing sports such as Hockey, Football, Basketball and Soccer. I also really enjoy travelling and having the chance to experience different cultures and parts of the world.
