Tyler Pondel

Greetings, my name is Tyler Pondel. I am a Youth Minister, teacher, and public speaker currently living in Berwyn, Illinois. My interests range from technology to politics. I am also interested in astronomy, volunteering, and reading. I have been involved in Boy Scouts ever since the 1st Grade and I received the Eagle Scout Award in August 2017. My time in Scouting has taught me how to be a leader, perform basic first aid and how to survive in the outdoors. I have been involved in my high school's Theatre program ever since my freshman year and have worked on 8 shows during my time in it. In addition to these 8 shows, I have also worked on a number of rentals in the theatre for various companies and people. I recently discovered my interest in teaching and in Youth Ministry when I was a leader on Nazareth's Senior Kairos Retreat. Leading this retreat has changed my perspective on life and what my future may hold. I currently plan on attending the Ohio State University and studying Math and Science Education.
