I work all day as an engineer, and then I come home and spend my free time tinkering. If I couldn't take stuff apart, I'd probably do a lot more reading and listening to music. If I couldn't put stuff back together in a better way, I'd probably do a lot more writing and playing guitar. Someday I hope to use my passion for engineering to change the world, but until then I'm content to learn everything I can.

I am amazed by the world that we live in--from the creatures and natural laws that I believe are quite elegantly designed, to the social, economic, scientific, and mathematical models and systems we've created to make sense of it all.

I believe that finding work worthy of being integrated into living is better than working during the week and living on the weekends. Still, I do my best to place the importance of my family and my friends above all that.
