Tyler Burlage

Tyler Burlage is a successful businessman who has achieved a lot in various industries. He studied business at the University of Iowa and, before graduating, he purchased a house that he renovated himself. He worked in sales and commercial insurance for a few years, but he later moved to North Carolina to work for a financial consulting firm. However, he missed having his family and friends close by, so he eventually decided to start his own business.

In 2012, Burlage partnered with a family-owned venture and launched his own real estate development company. He also diversified his portfolio by investing in other businesses outside of insurance and real estate. Today, he owns profitable businesses in a variety of industries, including real estate, transportation, commercial finance, commercial insurance, and equipment leasing.

Burlage is most proud of his professional accomplishments in supporting, inspiring, and growing companies, especially family-owned businesses. For example, he helped grow his family's insurance business from a modest firm to an industry powerhouse, eventually leading the family firm to partner with one of the fastest growing insurance conglomerates in the world. As a business partner, Burlage also helped a transportation firm grow tenfold in a two-year span through financing and networking opportunities. Additionally, as Vice President of Sales, he assisted the Peoples Insurance Agency in winning Agency of the Year from AssuredPartners, taking the #1 spot out of 200+ agencies worldwide.
