Real estate appraiser Tyler Lowman has worked in the San Diego, California, market since 1994. He serves as an independent residential appraiser for individual clients as well as for appraisal management companies (AMCs), for whom he offers expertise in market research and data gathering. Tyler Lowman has performed these functions as president and owner of Southwest Equity Appraisals, an office that he established and built into a multi-employee business.

Tyler Lowman builds on an in-depth knowledge of the San Diego market. Born and raised in the area, he attended the University of California, Riverside, before entering the real estate profession as an assistant appraiser for CTX Mortgage/CENTEX Homes. He started his own business at the age of 24 and by 29 had distinguished himself as the owner of two successful businesses.

Dedicated to the continuous advancement of his industry knowledge, Mr. Lowman has attended numerous seminars over the past 11 years. He has also shared his knowledge with his professional community, having mentored and trained appraisers and real estate agents at Southwest Equity Appraisals from 2000 through 2008.
