Hey there, I’m Tyler. Since I was a child, I have always enjoyed helping others. I have also enjoyed sports and I have seen the positive impact they can have on people. For me, some of the most influential people in my life were coaches, whether they were great or not so great. What I’ve realized is they often lack training, support, and resources to be able to perform their difficult jobs well. Here’s where I come in! I provide training, support, and resources to coaches to enable them to do their jobs at their fullest capability. This is my way of making a difference in the world, which is something that I value a lot.
I am a coach educator living in Fresno, California. I will be moving to New Zealand for a year to hone my professional skills and gain knowledge of coaching education in another country. I have worked with the 4th largest school district in California on a project that succeeded in introducing newly hired coaches to the district's athletic values, increased knowledge of quality coaching principles, and enabled coaches to build a learning community.
