Tyler Stoner is a marketing professional with The Blue Focus, a Conway-based marketing firm. The Blue Focus has recently expanded into customized promotional products and apparel, and that’s where Tyler’s focus is. When asked what defines The Blue Focus, Tyler quickly answers, “Our success as a company is absolutely determined by our clients’ success.”

“For me, marketing is a form of servitude. I’m not here to sell a product or service. I’m here to serve my clients by helping them grow and expand their business and their brand,” Tyler says. It’s not just a job for Tyler; instead, he wants to work to be a valuable, trusted member of the Central Arkansas business community.

Though Tyler began attending college, he soon realized he didn’t want to take the normal route to success. After meeting Kim Slaughter-Miller, owner of The Blue Focus, she became his mentor, and it wasn’t long before they were partners. Today, Tyler says, “I love the challenge of finding creative ways of marketing that are relevant to 2017. I love working with business owners or their representatives who are eager to grow their business and reputation instead of staying stagnant.”

Tyler continues, “I want to work with companies of any size that want to partner with us to drive their success forward.”

When asked what Tyler sees in the future of marketing, he says it’s simple—and it’s already here: “Success requires building familiarity with your audience. It’s going to be more than just throwing advertisements onto a screen and hoping they stick. Instead, companies will need to establish trust and familiarity.”

Tyler says part of what makes The Blue Focus different is that they consistently go the extra mile by being accessible and quick to turn around both questions and orders—and they always make sure every order is accurate.

Tyler grew up in Newark, Arkansas, though he often says Batesville because, “More people know where that is.” He and his family enjoy spending time in the outdoors, working out, and cooking together.
