Ty Ross

Staff Attorney at Georgia Legal Services Program in Georgia

I am a former city manager and current attorney based in Georgia, with a career focused on public service, leadership, and building stronger communities.

My work has spanned local government and law, where I have led city operations, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, and worked on projects that directly impact people’s daily lives. As a city manager and administrator, I focused on economic development, infrastructure, and fiscal responsibility, always with the goal of creating long-term value for the communities I served.

I believe leadership is about service. It is about aligning decisions with your values, supporting your family, and doing what is right for the community. I have always measured success by the lasting impact of the work, not just short-term results.

Today, I serve as a Staff Attorney with Georgia Legal Services, helping individuals and families navigate legal challenges related to housing and civil matters. It is a role that allows me to continue serving others in a direct and meaningful way.

Outside of work, I enjoy golf, hiking, and reading. I also stay engaged in learning and following issues that affect local communities.

At the core of everything I do is a simple goal: serve well, lead with purpose, and leave things better than I found them.
