Here's my life story, because I know you want it. I studied Marketing at TAFE, and then Marketing & IT at Uni... in a way it looked like I was on a great path, but by 2010 the reality was that I was racking up a massiveo debt in Student Loans, while getting very little in return in that I was not acutally passing per say. To the untrained eye, I was a lazy student. But to the trained one, it was obvious that I was not following my passion.
In High School I did Home Ec & VET Courses and loved loved loved cooking. I wanted desperately to be a chef but quite frankly this 2003 High School Graduate was told that the money and hours were crap, and that it just wasn't even an option. I continued to live and breathe food, but went ever so undetermindly down the academic path. Until now...
Now I study Part Time at TAFE SA Regency doing Commercial Cookery, and work Full Time at a 4.5 Star Restaurant in Adelaide. I've learnt a bunch in my first year in the industry, that being 2011, and discovered that I can pick up skills and learn very quickly, and particularly have a natural talent for the art of food presentation. Happily, I regularly get "Compliments to the Chef!"... and life is wonderful.
