Ty Travis

Ty Travis was born on December 15, 1998. As a teenager, he had to face the harsh realities of both divorce and abuse - as his parents were divorced since the Ty was twelve months old.

The divorce started through his father's anger, which targeted Ty's mother as they were still together. The high temper grew rapidly after Ty was born - and his mother sought assistance by means of a counselor. However, this assistance (though meant for both mother and father to attend) came to a halt after Ty's mother found his father delivering red flowers to another woman - and then proceeding to tell her that the other woman was pregnant with his son. That ended the relationship, thus splitting the families apart.

Growing up, Ty had to deal with living in two different houses - both in which had inverted conditions. His father had no rules, and the four children he rendered with his now second ex-wife were always in the brink of chaos. Ty's mother on the other hand had high expectations for her only child - he was expected to go to bed on time, get school work done before it is due, etc. It was either meet these expectations, or lose something used for non-productive time (the video games for example) in her house.

Ty's dad always yelled and hit him whenever he pointed out that his house was dirty, or is Ty wanted to go to his mom's to study. Ty's father's house was always dirty; mold grew in the fridge and the bathroom floors. With the tensions from the dirty house and how uncontrolled his father was, Ty knew that he would not be successful if he remained with his father as his mentally began to slowly break.

Seeking an alternate method of getting his father to return to normal, Ty and his mother set up counseling appointments for he and his father to attend. However, these appointments served useless as not only did Ty's father ignore his counselor's calls, but also lied about going to one of the sessions by himself.

Ty asked his mother to file for full custody in 2013. He has remained with her ever since.

Since he moved out of his father's house, Ty has became much more successful in life. He is a triathlete, AP student, and is looking to become a TRAUMA surgeon when he graduates from high school. Ty is seen as a role model for the eyes of parents for his maturity and success at such a young age.
