Ting-Yat Wong
Researcher and Psychologist in Aachen, Germany
After obtaining my Research Master in Psychology (Brain and Cognition major) at University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I worked as a research assistant at the Castle Peak Hospital, Hong Kong and received genomic and bioinformatics training from Chinese University of Hong Kong. My research interest mainly falls into two areas: developmental psychopathology and affective neuroscience. I am always keen to understanding how early life events modify the gene-brain relationship in socioemotional development and how this leads to psychopathology and resilience. Under the supervision of Prof. Thomas Nickl-Jockschat and Prof. Ruben Gur, we, for my PhD project, are trying to elucidate genetic influences on brain structural variation in aggression.
