I am a First Generation Liberian and Igbo American Writer, Teaching Artist and Performance Artist from the Jeffery Manor Neighborhood on the Southeast Side of Chicago. I work and build where I am native. I am currently employed as a Teaching Artist with Thresholds among other organizations. I also run a co-working space, The Basement in the Manor, where I encourage local artists and creative institutions to come and slow down with me. As I find myself situated somewhere between social services and creative practice, my interests range from poetry to community activism.

You can check out the social media links or click the button above to visit my artist page if you’d like to get in touch to discuss speaking engagements, commissions/collaborations, or visiting "The Basement."
