Recognized as one of the Ten Outstanding Young Persons in Ahmadu Bello University and among Africa’s Top 30 Young Changemakers involved in generous actions, I am a third-year Pharmacy student passionate about public health, healthcare accessibility, and student-led initiatives.
My story has transitioned from a very shy 'Jambito' first year student to a revolutionary who has connected with thousands of students with beneficial resources and impactful campaigns, focusing on the trio of impact areas: Public Health, Social Impact, and Animal Welfare.
I am the founder of the first ever Nigerian students-led animal welfare community, Feed A Cat Today (FACT), a community of over 800 students who are actively engaging in awareness efforts reaching people nationwide with the mission of improving animal welfare and encouraging urban biodiversity efforts. I am the convener of "The Dot"—a movement dedicated to developing a generation of undergraduates who rise above societal pressures and self-doubt to become confident leaders and changemakers in their communities.
In Public Health, I'm working on an innovative project, Stigma Prevention and Health Equity Response Effort (SPHERE). I also serve as the Vice President of the Pharmacy Students Research Club, the Head of Communications for the Antimicrobial Resistance Students Network, and the pioneer Health Sciences journalist in my university.
