Uche Osita James graduated top 5% in his class from the Law faculty of the University of Nigeria. He was the president of the Nwokike Literary Club, the Editor in Chief of the Faculty Magazine and the founder of the first indigenous literary prize awarding Nigerian undergraduates in the three genres. He was the recipient of the best in contract law award in 2013 and the imbube prize for literature in 2017. He is the founder of the Jigawa Library Project, a movement towards mass literacy and library creation in Jigawa. He is an avid writer and has been published in both national and international platforms including; Kalahari Review, Commercially Aware, Y Naija, Pulse.ng, African Freelancers, African Writers, Mu-Afrika and Scriggler.
He is also the CEO of Flourish Consult, a renowned writing advisory connecting young people to opportunities leveraging its three service areas; Writing, Editing and Branding.
He currently writes and advocates at the Ministry of Justice in Jigawa.
