Uche Unogu was called into the ministry at a very young age but didn't start preaching till age 17. Uche's accompanied his mom Ann, as she worked with a team to planted over 7 churches in the city of Lagos Nigeria. Moving from church plant to church plant, Uche witnessed first hand how the gospel lifted the spirits of people and brought communities together. Uche saw how people could learn for free and use what they learned to better their lives.
Uche moved to the United States when he was 18 to establish an evangelistic ministry ONYX which he founded with his Friend Ebeadi Ozuah. Onyx produces music, videos and live events - geared towards Lifting up (advertising) Jesus Christ. Uche also furthered his education, earning a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems and a Master's Degree in Health Informatics. Uche currently resides in Indianapolis with his wife and 2 daughters.
