One of his most memorable internships was at Nickelodeon where he helped create advertisements for Paramount and Nickelodeon films.

Jacob has also worked for South East Consortium where he was a counselor for special needs children.
In High School, Jacob was the president of both the Rye Youth Players Club and Adopt a Grandfriend Club. As president of Rye Youth Players, Jacob and other Rye High students would preform educational skits for elementary and middle school kids. The skits where based on any particular issue the school had, for example bullying or dress codes. In Adopt a Gradfriend, Jacob would visit an old age home once a month where he would converse and play games with the elderly. In his senior year, Jacob refined Adapt a Grandfriend by dedicating an extra half an hour to the disability wing. As a result, the program continues to entertain the dementia wing.
Jacob Mann grew up in Rye NY with his parents and two sisters, one older and one younger. Jacob’s older sister, Arielle, was born without a corpus collosum rendering her mentally retarded. Growing up with a special need sibling gave Jacob the important skills one needs on a daily basis. He attended Windward Middle school and Rye High School where he played soccer and competed in track.
