Udayan Patwardhan

I am a Masters Student in Mechanical Engineering at University of Minnesota. Currently, i am working as a research assistant at Center for Diesel Research (CDR). My advisor is Dr. David Kittelson.
Besides working on diesel engines and their emissions, i like reading about energy storage, automobiles and product design.
One of the pressing issues of our time is to come up with a high energy density device for storing electrical energy. This device can revolutionize the automobile industry and have a profound effect on the environment as 40% of emissions by man made sources are attributed to automobiles.
