Dede Kurnia (DK) was born in Tasikmalaya on 18th of March 1994 and received his Bachelor degree from Faculty of Teacher Training and Education Universitas Siliwangi (FKIP Unsil) majoring in in Economics Education in 2017.
When DK was a student at FKIP Unsil, he participated in several student activities. In addition, he actively contributed articles to several local and national newspapers, and won several competitions, such as scientific writing competitions.
DK continued his post-graduate study in 2017 majoring in Economics Education at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI). He was graduated with cum laude predicate within 1.5-year period.
Since 2021 until now, DK has been pursuing doctoral studies in the field of management at the Faculty of Economics and Business Education, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia, with a scholarship from the Indonesian government through the Center for Financing and Education Services (PUSLAPDIK). He has research interests in entrepreneurship, business education, and micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises in developing countries.
