Born and raised in Nigeria, Ukairo traded in a career as a lawyer in Nigeria to pursue a degree in film at the University of Texas at Austin.

Over the last couple of years, he has gone from filming comedy skits and recap videos for student organizations to having his work "UT Durag Day" featured on BET.

He is passionate about telling ordinary stories in extraordinary ways - theatricizing the mundane. So, while film is the oppression that enables him to do this, he is guilty of spending way too much time crafting the perfect Instagram story using text and photography.
