Hi, I’m Heather from England.

I’m chronically ill, disabled and unable to work. I am stuck at home 24/7 due to my health and lack of money, which is very depressing.

I get just over £300 a month total income which is all I can get which isn't remotely enough to live on! I can't afford rent anywhere on that, let alone food, bills and medication as well. I have just 35-40p a day for food which means I don't eat much and am always hungry.

I live on so little as I can't get ESA (the main disability benefit) due to the fact I worked part time for many years before being unable to work. That means I didn't pay enough national insurance so I can't get ESA for many years. That is unfair but that is a Tory ran England for you. So a few more years until I can get that.

Meanwhile I live on a poverty income.

I try blogging and Twitch, but sadly doesn't bring almost anything in. Twitch I hoped would bring more in, but I am lucky to get 2 viewers and above 2 subs a month.

I am bedbound for 5 days minimum now from 1 single stream. It kills me.

All money I earn goes on food, heating and bills, but mainly food as I don't get much. I eat just one meal a day too.

I would love to be able to afford heat, but I don't get more than $7 a month on Twitch and that is held until it hits a threshold that takes me a year to hit.

Even when it is 3c-6c inside, I can't afford the heating on. This is why I hoped to earn more on Twitch, but sadly as Twitch only cares about big streamers, and discoverability for small streamers is non-existent. You have to promote constantly and network, neither of which I can't do as I am bedbound for 5 days from 1 stream!
