Wife, mother, passionate writer/voracious reader/author, facilitator, Security Clinic, blogger, and above all, child of God, whose desire is to see a rebirth of strong moral/godly values in the family and be a positive change agent in the society, beginning in her own little corner.

A graduate of English from the Faculty of Arts, University of Uyo, Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, with additional certifications in: Media Enterprises, Advanced Writing and Reporting Skills (AWARES), from the Pan-Atlantic University's School of Media and Communication, and Screen Writing from the Royal Arts Academy, Lagos; emerged as best Screen Writing Student from that set.

Author of the acclaimed novel, Burning Hurt, she has also written several articles on family values, relationships, women and children, published online, in magazines and newspapers like TW Magazine, Security & Safety Magazine, Green Pastures Magazine, Vanguard Media Limited, Daily Times and Mid-Week Spring Newspapers.
Unyime-Ivy works as Executive Director Communications/CSR at Protection Plus Services Limited, an international security services company with Headquarters in Lagos, and is MD of Heritage Treasure Trove Communications Ltd, a publishing/communications firm, which is the newest addition to her stables. She currently lives in Lagos, Nigeria with her husband, Ubong King and their 4 children.
