Ultrasound Technicians

Ultrasound technicians, also known as diagnostic medical sonographers, are important members of the medical community. They perform ultrasounds on patients in order to determine what is going on inside of the body. Ultrasound readings (sonograms) help physicians make diagnoses and to treat a variety of medical conditions. They are also commonly used on the bellies of pregnant mothers in order to check on the health and development of the fetus.
