Umair Zia

I am a product of an international existence due to my father's military background, born in a country where I've never lived, my youth spent in 3 different continents. Though Dallas, Texas is my home, I now proudly call New York City my "home", a city that still leaves me in awe.

Back in TX, I excelled in account management, business development, consultations, and marketing projects. I moved to NY because I wanted do something that was more than a paycheck, while rewarding, fresh, and challenging. Like Batman. Everyone relates to at least one comic book character.

I am always interested in tech innovations, startups, creative and promotional projects that involve brand representation, events coordination, advertising, or graphic-design.

I am currently teaching myself to code (Javascript, soon followed by Ruby).

I love graphic novels, discovering hidden NYC, going to art flea markets, fitness/conditioning training, video games, watching movies and parkour videos, and once in a while, putting on a nice suit.
