Umi Akiyoshi

Umi Akiyoshi is a current dancer in the Conservatory of Dance at Purchase College and previously trained at Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School and The Ailey School.

In 2015 she was recognized as a Modern Dance Finalist by the National YoungArts Foundation

As a photographer she has taken professional photographs for Sidra Bell Dance New York, ELSCO Dance co., and MADboots Dance co.
